A Move to the Seaside

A friend asked me to make a new home card with a twist. She needed one for a couple who are retiring to the seaside, so wanted something beach-themed. Luckily, I still have the 2 retired stamp sets used in this card. I love how it turned out, based on this fold by Jeanie Stark.

Recipe
Stamps : By the Tide, By the Seashore (retired)
Ink : Sahara Sand, Night of Navy
Cardstock : Sahara Sand, Shimmery White
Accessories : 3/4" punch, linen thread, paper snips

New Home

The daughter of a very dear friend has bought a Condo in Chicago so I took the opportunity to use my new bundle "At Home With You". I've been seeing some gorgeous samples with this set and love how this turned out.

I made the bricks by using the new Decorative Mask and Embossing Paste mixed with 2 drops of Cajun Craze. The result was a little too white, so I sponged over it with Crumb Cake ink. The door and the flower pots along with the lamps were put together using watercolour paper.

Recipe
Stamps : At Home With You
Ink : Archival Black
Cardstock : Watercolour, Cajun Craze, Thick Whisper White
Accessories : Reinker, Big Shot, Framelits, aquapainters, embossing paste
